In December 2006, RHSM welcomed to campus
Jennifer Devlin and Scott Shell from EHDD Architecture,
the San Francisco firm RHSM hired to design a new facility
for students in grades six through 12. Ms. Devlin and
Mr. Shell will conduct small group meetings through March
2007 with trustees, administrators, staff, faculty, students,
alumni, and parents to begin assessing the needs and
dreams
for a future new campus.
The school must submit architectural plans to the city
in order for the rezoning of the 13.2 acres of Mt. Olivet
land (adjacent to the McCarthey Campus) to become official.
The school's Mt. Olivet committee is currently working
with Mt. Olivet Cemetery to ask the U.S. Congress to
amend the federal reversionary clause attached to the
land's deed to include educational usage. The school
continues to work on a flexible timeline for securing
the land from Mt. Olivet.
